The dilated haustra of colon after esophagocolostomy was a rare complications, but it may be extremely dangerous because of the potential for perforation of the thin-walled esophageal substitute. Therefore a prompt surgical correction of the
lesion
should be done. The conventional surgical exploration and resect6ion of the lesion site was very difficult. The use of the endo GIA to eliminate the dilated haustra of colon was simple and asfe method and the postoperative results were good. We
